Application Analyst, Materials Management - Corp. Materials Mgt. (CH)

Position Overview

Application Analyst, Materials Management – Corp Materials Mgt (CH):
Coordinates implements and maintains the system tools and data used by the Purchasing and Logistics for Catholic Health (CH). Identifies modifications needed based upon changes in regulatory/internal policies; develops procedures and implements changes. Develops and implements training programs for new and existing users in accordance with operational needs.

SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):

EDUCATION:
· College Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field required or five (5) - six (6) years equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

EXPERIENCE:
· Extensive computer experience, preferably PC based with SMS MedSeries IV products, experience with people soft, Lawson, Meditech, specifically Materials Management functions.
· Data extract tool experience, crystal, oracle, etc.
· Web page programming experience
· Basic programming experience
· Project management experience is highly desirable
· Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiencies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to think and process analytically and logically
· Knowledge of Purchasing and Value Analysis
· Possess strong clerical skills and manual dexterity.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

ENVIRONMENT:
· Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs.
· Travel will be required among the CHS organizations and sites.
