Position Title

Registered Nurse Triage/Team Leader - MCCC (MHB)

Position Overview

Registered Nurse Triage/Team Leader – MCCC (MHB): The Triage / Team Leader Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the provision of professional nursing care in an office setting. Ensures efficient medical office flow by effectively managing telephone triage position and assisting physician with all aspects of Primary Care.

Office Manager

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):

EDUCATION:
· Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
· Current New York State Licensure

EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of three (3) years in a primary care setting with telephone triage management skills; ability to evaluate acute/non-acute situations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
· Possess a problem-solving approach
· Ability to apply good judgment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Able to work well in stressful situations and conditions with frequent interruptions.
· Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
