Position Overview
Database Analyst, Development – Development/Foundation (CH):
The Database Analyst, Development is responsible for maintaining integrity, security and processing of electronic data and files related to the philanthropy function of Catholic Health, including its local Foundations. The Database Analyst will define and manage the Raiser’s Edge operational processes, its data dictionary, and policy and procedure guide; manage upstream/downstream operations with database impact (website and telephone giving, interface with payroll and GL, etc.); and implement a coordinated strategy that provides accurate, timely information for Central Development and the related Foundations as they pursue and secure gifts to advance the mission of Catholic Health.

Vice President, Development, Catholic Health
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct Reporting Responsibilities: None.
Matrix relationship: Ministry Development Associates
SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):
Education
o Bachelors Degree required, preferably in information systems management or computer science.
Experience
o A minimum of five (5) years comprehensive work experience in donor database management required, preferably with two (2) years working with Raiser’s Edge specifically.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability
o Demonstrated database management skills including records coding, data entry management, generating reports, and data security.
o Database query and reporting expertise (SQL) a plus.
o Demonstrated project management skills, ability to manage priorities and utilize effective time management skills.
o Demonstrated written, oral, electronic and interpersonal communication skills.
o Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a matrix organization.
o Must possess an understanding of the nuances of working in a multi-node fundraising environment across a complex system.
