Position Title

Staffing Supervisor - Patient Care Services (MHB)

Position Overview

Staffing Supervisor – Patient Care Services (Mercy Hospital of Buffalo): Audits and approves time and attendance daily on the Time and Attendance System for Patient Care Services Department. Assists Nurse Managers, Directors and Supervisors in biweekly scheduling, and with day to day staff scheduling operations. Supervises Office staffing clerks on the day to day operations of the Staffing Office.

Director of Patient Care Support Services

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Staffing Clerks in Patient Care Services

SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):
EDUCATION:
· Associate Degree required
· Associate Degree in associated healthcare field highly preferred

EXPERIENCE:
· Three (3) years office experience
· Management experience strongly preferred
· Previous experience in Payroll processing and staff scheduling a plus
· Previous Kronos experience a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong Microsoft Office skills
· Must be able to work independently and make sound judgments in high stress situations
