Position Title

Accountant - Finance (CH)

Position Overview

Accountant – Finance (Catholic Health): Position will be responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, preparing statistical summaries, and assisting the Facility Senior Accountant in the financial statement preparation process and maintenance of the general ledger system.

Facility Senior Accountant

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.

SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):
EDUCATION:
· Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance.

EXPERIENCE:
· Prior healthcare accounting experience preferred, but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
· Knowledge of PC and spreadsheet-based programs (i.e., Microsoft Excel) required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Normal office hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm.
· Hours may vary during year-end and budget.
